Exempted countries: security evacuation travel insurance

Travelex's coverage can offer travel security and evacuation services to help eligible travelers evacuate from a destination when a covered security event occurs.

Because conditions vary around the world, our security evacuation travel insurance isn't available in every destination.

The list below identifies countries where this coverage is currently unavailable. If you're planning to travel to one of these destinations, our security evacuation benefits won't apply, even if they're included in your travel insurance plan.

Our underwriter, Zurich American Insurance Company, reserves the right to modify this list upon 30-days' notice.

What is security evacuation coverage? It’s a benefit that’s included with our adventure activities upgrade on some plans. It can help arrange an eligible security evacuation or search and rescue operation for you in your travel destination if there’s an imminent threat to your physical safety.
