Flight disruption alerts that may affect your coverage
Both international and USA flight disruptions and airport closures can affect your travel plans and may impact your Travelex travel insurance coverage.
If your flight is disrupted after you purchase your policy and the event was unexpected when you bought it, your travel insurance plan may cover eligible losses.
However, once a flight disruption becomes a foreseeable event, new policies with new claims related to that disruption are no longer eligible for coverage.
The alerts below show the date each flight disruption became foreseeable. To be eligible for coverage, you must have purchased your policy before that date.
Good to know: Flight disruptions happen every day, and this page isn't intended to list every airport delay or flight cancellation ... just the major ones. If your flight disruption isn't listed, your coverage will still depend on your policy and the circumstances of your claim.
