War alerts that may affect your travel insurance coverage
Major armed conflicts and current wars in the world can disrupt travel and affect your Travelex travel insurance coverage.
Travelex does not provide coverage for losses caused by an act of war, whether declared or undeclared, unless you have purchased our cancel for any reason upgrade* before the conflict’s effective date.
Depending on your destination, you may still be eligible for other travel insurance benefits. Be sure to review our blocked and restricted destinations page and your policy documents for complete coverage details.
The war alerts below identify destinations where military conflict has resulted in coverage restrictions.
Important: If you’re currently traveling with a Travelex policy and are impacted by an unexpected act of war, call our 24/7 emergency assistance team for help.
