Civil unrest and terror alerts that may affect your travel insurance

Worldwide

Terrorist incidents and civil unrest can disrupt your travel plans and may affect your Travelex travel insurance coverage.

If a civil unrest or terrorism alert is issued after you purchase your policy and the event was not reasonably expected when you bought your plan, your travel insurance may cover eligible losses.

Once a terrorist incident becomes a foreseeable event, however, new policies purchased after that date with claims related to that specific event are no longer eligible for coverage.

The civil unrest and terror alerts below identify significant events that may affect your coverage.
