If you purchase one of our comprehensive plans (Essential, Advantage, or Ultimate), your pre-trip cancellation coverage starts at 12:01 a.m. the day after plan purchase. Your other on-trip benefits start the day your trip is scheduled to begin. 

If you purchase our Travel Med Go, Flight Insure, or Flight Insure Plus plans, your coverage starts at 12:01 a.m. Central Time on your scheduled departure date. This is because these three plans provide on-trip coverage only, not pre-trip cancellation coverage.
