Certain travel insurance providers will cover for the original amount of a trip even if you didn't buy the trip directly from the supplier or a travel agent (or were lucky enough to win it). In your unique winning situation, Travelex will allow you to insure up to the full cost of the trip (but not over!) or up to the amount you paid for the trip if less than its value. If you paid more for a trip than its actual value, coverage won't protect you for the difference.
